St Peter’s Church is situated in the picturesque village of Grandborough. Two Wellingtonia trees which were planted on either side of the tower and spire, some 100 years ago, can be seen for miles around Grandborough and make an impressive picture from some distance away.

St Peter’s is a Church of England parish in the Diocese of Coventry and we are part of the Leam Valley Benefice, a group of eight churches nestled in rural villages just south of Rugby.

We invite you to join us as we journey together, exploring the teachings of Jesus and what it means to follow him. Although each Church is unique, we unite to create a powerful community. Our purpose is encapsulated in the acronym WORDS: Worship, Outreach, Relationships, Discipleship, and Service. If you are seeking a place to belong, there's a space shaped just for you; come and say hello.

The Rev. Phil Price is our Priest-in-Charge and he is supported by Associate Minister Rev. Canon Barbara Clutton and the broader ministry team.

At St Peter’s, we hold two regular services each month, to which everyone is welcome:

· 1st Sunday of each month – 9:00 am Holy Communion

· 3rd Sunday of each month – 9:00 am Breakfast Service

Visitors are always welcome. Refreshments are served after the services.

Our Farmers' Market is held on the 1st Thursday of every month, except January, from 10.00 am - 12.00 pm.

We have baby changing facilities and accessible toilets.

Fundraising

The PCC is currently aiming to address the two most critical heritage needs within the church building where delay in restoration could result in a lost opportunity to preserve these unique features. The first area of focus is the repair of the eighteenth-century church clock, which has a prominent feature in the local landscape for over two centuries but is now prone to malfunctioning and has a number of pressing maintenance issues. The second is the refurbishment of the sizeable Caen stone frieze located behind the altar.
